The one thing I might love more than painted rocks is unicorns! 

When I saw the magical unicorn rock painting tutorial from Ruffles and Rainboots I knew I had to paint it! 

I ended up using her rock painting idea and based my own unicorn off of it. 

I changed my version of the unicorn rock a little bit from the way it was originally painted to make it a full body unicorn instead of just the head.

Notes: For best results, use a light colored rock with a flat surface for painting.

To paint the unicorn, I followed along using a white ultra fine point Posca pen. After following the tutorial as it appears in the video, I thought it looked a bit like a cartoon unicorn with a big head so where I had drawn the chest, I used the black Posca pen to add a line to make legs and hooves.

To give my unicorn a magical finish, I use a fine detail paintbrush to apply Mod Podge Waterbase Sealer over the mane.

To make the rock weatherproof for hiding outside, I added a coat of clear spray sealer.
